Hello all. I have a livingstoni, she's about 5-6" and is the only one of her kind in a 240 gallon tank, with 13 male peacocks and two small male haps. For a while, she was the dominant fish, aggressively chasing the others, including some that were a bit bigger. Then she gradually became more docile and is now among the quieter fish. She even hides in the back, behind rocks sometimes.

As she became more docile, a funny thing happened when feeding her recently. She came for the food...she's usually a big eater with a good sized belly...but as she tried to eat, about a dozen bright yellow objects (about the size of sunflower seed kernels) fell out of her mouth. The other fish rapidly ate them up.

It looks like she's holding more in her mouth. She doesn't eat, her belly is smaller and she's keeping to herself. I read livingstoni won't pick up their eggs if they aren't fertilized, and unfertilized eggs turn white. Any thoughts on what's happening? Could a male peacock or hap be involved?
