New cichlid rock cave help

I just added a rock cave to my tank and my blue kenyi is rubbing on them almost constantly. What is he doing does anyone know. Thank you all for advise ahead of time.

Can anyone please help I'm scared will it hurt him should I take the rocks out.

Its just marking its territory

Or he is sick either way it has nothing to do with the rocks

I think it is as well he hasn't left the cave since he stopped rubbing all over it. Hes at home now lol.
