New stock plan

I'm setting up a 125 gallon tank and I have a few different stocking plans and wanted to know why everyone thought and which option would be more beautiful in looks.

Option 1
Yellow labs
Red zebras
Pseudo Scolofi
Maingano
Rusty Cichlid
Maybe cynotilpia Afra

Option 2
Red empress
Nimbochromes veneutrus
Blue dolphin
Protomelas spilantes
Electric blue Cichlid

Now these two options are just divided by lakes but I wanted to know if I could do alittle mixing of these options ??

Not lakes but ppl say that certain haps and mbunas should not be put together

Ah ok I see what your saying.All I can say is I kept an Electric blue (Ahli) with mbuna (Kenyi,yellow labs,Auratus,Red Zebra etc and the mbuna killed the Ahli.
I do however keep 4 Dimidiochromis compressiceps with them and they certainly hold their own.

Well mouth-brooder-Fanatic added a red empress to her mbuna and it got pulverised but I know there are people on here that do mix them.
My advice however would be don't mix them.

Not totally knowledgeable on victorians either but i dont belive most victorians are herbavores so mbuna might be a bad choice
