Peaceful-ish fish

I'm looking for peaceful-ish fish that could work in a 55 gallon tank. Any ideas?

Small to medium, largest like 7inch?

P.denesonii and some dwarf gourami. Maybe a few Cory. And rainbow fish. Viola peaceful ish

I'm looking more of the cichlids side of the fish because they are more colorful and seem to be more active

Angel, festivum, Severum, fire mouth, acara, alto compressiceps, any kind of ram, apistos, rainbow, blood parrot, geophagus.
