Soaked it for a few hours, not days. Not worried about it turning my water brown, not with the amount of wc's i do.

Oh yeah im being patient waiting for it to sink. I flipped it because 3/4 of it sinks but that last chunk just wants to float

I usually will wedge it into the glass at the bottom so it can't float, until it doesn't float and then I reset the tank
