Looking for some ideas to stock a 55g ... Thinking about mbunas but not sure yet want some color and a mix of different ones for color purposes

Yellow labs are good. Maybe some maingano and Acei. Socolifi add in we'll too

Maingano will add a nice blue and the Acei are one of my favorites. Mine travel the whole tank and are my most active.

Im getting this pretty good picture of what that would look like in my head and ill probly get a couple of each

Auratus are another possibility. Some people have had problems with them being too aggressive, but mine have gotten along just fine with the fish mentioned above. I have mine in a 75 gallon

Ive been doing some research on some cichlids rangeing in temperment from peaceful to mild agressive only and this is what i like so far and im wondering if i can all them.

Cynotilapia afra (cobue)
Yellow labidochromis caeruleus
Labidochromis sp. "hongi" (SRT)
Labidochromis textilis
Pseudotropheus socolofi
Pseudotropheus sp.

okay so this is what my tank will look like

4 yellow labidochromis caeruleus
2 pseudotropheus sp. "acei"
2 pseudotropheus socolofi
2 pseudotropheus sp. " elongata chailosi "
2 synodontis nigrita
please comment with concerns or other suggestions.

Ive actually made some changes but if those could go together these should
4 yellow labidochromis caeruleus
2 labidochromis sp. "eastern zebra "
2 pseudotropheus sp. "acei"
2 pseudotropheus socolofi
2 synodontis multipunctatus "cuckoo catfish"

Will these be alright and are they any other suggestions for other fish that can go into the tank and exist peacfully with the ones listed above
