tomocichla sieboldii

Was on a little trip yesterday and passed a huge aquarium store. They had a lot of rare fish. Anyway I picked up a tomocichla sieboldii. Beautiful fish. However there is very little info available on these guys. Anyone have and of these cichlids, know anything about them?

Hmmm I've heard of Tomocichla asfraci, but not that one. I'll have to do some digging around online. You've got me curious now!

Seems like a pretty cool little fish. Good pick up! Did they have more? You should try for a pair!

My lfs sells 1-2" young sieboldi. To my understanding, they are a calmer central american, however, I may be mistaken, it's been a while since i really looked into them at all

Calm compared to some species yes but they can still get feisty!
