What am I forgetting?

So I am looking into starting a 20 g long dwarf cichlid aquarium. I am putting together a list of supplies that I need - here is what I have come up with so far:

20 g tank
Stand
100 watt viaAqua heater
Aquaclear 50 gallon filter
Substrate: still haven't decided
Holey limestone rock
Plants (going fake)
Testing Kits for the water
Fish: looking at shellies
Food


I know I need to get everything setup and cycled before I start adding fish. Am I missing anything obvious?

If you're going the Shellie route, your substrate will need to be sand, and obviously you'll need shells

You really don't need rock, just lots of shells. More shells the better, my 20 long sandbed is covered in shells.
