Afraid to turn on my sump

Well I got the CPR overflow hooked up everything is work the way it should but it is noisy as heck I'm not sure the the wife will enjoy the gurgling noise any suggestions to quiet it down it came with a piece of tubing that your suppose to stick down in the return line and adjust it up or down but it doesn't seem to make a difference

Cut yourself a piece of airline tubing about 12" long and run it down the drain pipe of the overflow until it goes quiet. Tape or fasten it in place somehow, and your done.

Mine came with a hard plastic pipe with a little rubber stopper to hold it into place. X is right that an airline tubing will solve the issue.

The tube help but I have another question about my CPR how much water should be in the drain part of the overflow should the filter that's in there be completely covered with water mine is only about 1/4 of the way full here is a picture

It is a little higher than mine, but it looks like you have a better flow going in it that I do. Just fine.
