can any one id these for me

If I posted in wrong spot sorry I can't seem to find the I'd section ... Well I got these white round flat things on some rocks u can peel them off and the look like a shell this is the pic

Looks like the beginning of coralline algae to me. The white dots in my tank turn green then purple.

I would think they are small snails. Can you get a closer picture? Do they move at all?

Yea ill try to from what I can tell no they don't move ...

There is a few that are green and a few that are purplish

It's algae, I'm telling you guys. LOL If you have to scrape it off that seals the deal. I leave mine and after a few weeks it is purple. I must have hundreds of those white dots in my tank.

NOW, if it moves or is a swirly type of pattern then yeah its a snail but if it's just solid it's the coralline.

I've had the white dot transformation going on for about a year now.

I initially thought it was snails but left them alone and monitored them. Thats how I figured it out.
