coraline on heater

Shouldn't affect it at all really. The only issue is if the temp control becomes inaccessable. Soaking it in a 1:1 water/vinegar solution should get rid of it easily enough though.

Don't scrape it, soak it instead. The solution will dissolve the coralline like butter on a stove. If the glass becomes scratched from scraping, it will weaken the overall strength making it much easier to break if bumped.
