cycling my tank

i just started a new tank (not my i have many and have been doing this for a few years), and it has not cycled!!! all the nitrates, nitrites, ph, and ammonia are all where they should be!! it has been going a week! it was cloudy for the first 36 hours, now everything is good> never cycled why!!!!

Was a source of ammonia added i.e. LR, LR die off, shrimp, waste, anything of that nature. If not then you would not see a cycle as it has not happened yet.

You can always toss some fish food in or something of that nature.

it is reused sand and it has 5 gallons of water out of my year old reef!!!

it is a 26 bow front!!!!

Just a guess, but probably what GhostKnife mentioned... not enough of anything to start the cycle.
