Well it's been an interesting week or two here in balmy San Diego ,... First off , I celebrated my 63 rd birthday last Tuesday and my head still hurts
., and after 63 years of trying very hard not to stick things in your eyes I'm on week two of wearing contacts ,.. Wow they're nice when they're in but it's trying to get them in sometimes is really challenging for me ,..everyone says it'll get easier over time but I'm wondering ,... It was crazy the first time I went grocery shopping and left my " readers" in the car !!! Amazing !! my eyes now seem a little more sensitive to walking outside into the bright sun light so thank goodness for nice sunglasses. The way my contact prescription was formulated I'll still need a light weight set of " readers" for really fine print but overall it's soooo much nicer. ( so far ) :-/
I found some replacement plastic blades for my tunze algae scraper and boy what a difference a fresh blade makes ,it's like trying to shave with the same old dull razor blade for a couple of weeks then popping in a new " fusion" track five blade ,..makes a world of difference.
The tank is seemingly staying rather stable and everything looks like it's doing well and "knock on wood " no issues as of late
