Since I've had my cucumber for about a couple of days now, Ive noticed that at certain times they are a lot smaller and larger than they are at different points during the day. Mostly at night they are longer and the day shorter? Is this bad or good or no difference? In general does this mean anything?

I dont think it means anything. years ago when I had one it would do the same.

I thought it may of had something to do with health, but just guessing? Im assuming that an unhealthy cucumber would be deteriorating?

I'm not sure you'll always get such a clear warning of deteriorating health. But yes, I think any tissue necrosis would be worrisome.

whew--- I was worried we were going to get into a debate about size being better--LOL

perfectly normal behaviour for them

Sometimes I notice that he get real fat after I throw some oyster eggs in the tank, Im assuming that he is eating well and getting the nutrition he needs correct? Or is that just "normal behavior"? Haha I like the size joke.......
