Lost dead tang

hi guys i had a regal tang around 5 inches and it died suddenly, but cant find it in my tank .... i am scared abt nitrates and etc .. 260 g reef tank

will it effct my fishes and corals ?

if its dead and has been there for a few days and slowly decomposing them yea it could cause a few problems. do you have a CUC with crabs/hermit craps. If you do, I wouldn't really worry about finding it. if the fish is dead, then the crabs will find it
