Hello all,
I am having difficulty with green algae. It is starting to smother some polyps. I have removed some by hand, but it grows back faster than I can remove it. I have kept my lights off for a couple of days to try to stop it, with no luck. I will give you a description of my tank.
I have a 68 gallon tall tank.
36" PC light
about 70-80lbs of live rock
about 10 turbo snails
about 7 scarlet hermits
2 false percs
coral banded shrimp
pistol shrimp
yellow watchman goby
small toadstool
a few mushroom
a few polyps
star polyps
undertank filter
protien skimmer
