pH Probe

I bought a Hanna pH Probe on eBay because it seems like a cool idea. I tried it on my tank and it read 8.19 which is lower than I expected but probably exact.

Does any one have experience with these? I could not find anything on how often I need to calibrate or how accurate they actually are. I assume it is much more accurate than the drops.

they are really accurate as long as you keep them calibrated

The pH probe I have worked with in the past had a calibration liquid that came with it. The liquid has a known pH and you can adjust the probe as needed to match the pH of the liquid.

Not sure exactly what probe you have but I am sure someone may know. Perhaps you don't need to calibrate it at all.
