I want a back up power supply incase of a power cut any idea how much and where to find one

Scotty, how long of a duration are you talking about. If it's under an hour you can use a backup unit that they sell for computers. I believe it's called a "UPS", uninterupted Power Supply. I think you can get it at any Computer Store.

I don't know about 6 hours. You would need a small generator for that length of time.

batteries to back up that kind of power cost thousands of dollars... better off with a cheaper generator
