Pump Advice Please.......

I am moving my sump and equiptment to another room on the same floor of my house. The sump will be about 12'-14' from my tank. I will be using 3/4" PVC and the water will not be traveling up more than 5'. What external pump do you suggest. What is the formula you could use to figure this out? 12' horizontal + 5' verticle.


Tank is 54gal cube w/20gal sump

Just go to the pump manufacture's webpage and they will tell you the gph per foot of head.

Anyone have anything to say abouttheGen-X 4PCX pumps. Are they any good?

A mag 24 or 36 would be fine for a submersible pump and for an external a gen X mak 4 or mak 5 would work well also.
