I am looking to buy a new skimmer. Any suggestions as to what i should get for a 30 gal tank?

i would go with an AquaC Remora pro or regular remora. Do you have a sump or is gonna be a HOB. Remora if it is HOB and AquaC urchin if it is in sump.

i use a red sea prism it's ok but from time to time it loses the syphon in the u tube.

woul go with either an Aqua-C remora or a CPR bakpak 2R, if you think you might upgrade to a larger tank later...the remora pro would be a good choice, although I don't like such a big pump in the water.

If you have sump it is not a big deal about the pump IMO. My remora has a mag2 pump on it. Works great. Just my opinion though.

The bak pak 2R or the remora would be perfect. The remora is less maintenece involved and is quieter to. The remora is a little ore exspensive than the aquac though.
