Hey guys/gals I'm actually running two
One with puragen
One with Bio plastic
Both of my pumps have burned out what pumps would you recommend as replacements?

What were they being run off of? Knowing that will let us know what intensity is necessary...I want to say BRS suggests a pump to go with that unit.

I couldn't tell you. One of the pumps is extremely small square one. It might be about 2 inches, maybe. What I've read so far suggests a mini-jet 606 or a maxi 1200.

Thanks for pointing me to BRS. They say it's compatible with any pump with a flow between 100 and 250 with 1/2" connections, so that's a good starting point.

I'm using the minijet 606 with no issues.

I use it with the old pump that came off my CPR skimmer. I replaced the one for the skimmer and I just had one lying around. Works great.
