im purchasing a 75 gal tank soon, and wondering what i need to consider in making a good choice for lighting?
Also i have 2 supreme skilter 250 filters, will i be able to use this filter for this size of a tank?

no on the filters. they are about worthless. what are you doing with this tank? reef? if so, you are going to want a 6-8 lamp t-5 HO fixture, or a metal halide fixture. i would suggest 2 x 250 for a 75.
buy a "reef ready" tank, so you can implement a sump.

Well as of now LRWF also some coral, I appreciate the advice

I have a 75. I have a 4X54 T5HO and a 2X96PC. It was enough light to keep SPS barely happy. I just added a 24X3watt actinic fixture. (Thread coming) I am hoping to then change one of the T5 bulbs from actinic to white for added PAR.

I have seen 8 bulb Teks for $150 problem is bulbs will be about another $200+

Don't get a PC light. I only use mine because I had it laying around.
