55 Gallon Project

Hey Guys,

I recently received a 55 gallon tank and I have no idea where to start on it.

I currently have a 5.5 gallon that I am about to put some RCS in, and if they do well, I definitely plan on trying to transfer some RCS from the 5.5 into the 55.

Definitely want live plants!

With a 55, you have plenty of options. What kind of tank would you like? A community tank? Cichlid? Semi-aggressive? Low-light? High-light with CO2? The sky is the limit. First, I would pick a great substrate and work on your cycle.
