yeah. the 10 gallon doesnt come with a hood. which will be 20$ more. for the 29 gallon i bought mine with the hood for 70$. and i cant find a 29 gallon without a hood so ill go with the 20 gal. the 20 gallon itself is 40$. and the hood is 40$ more. so the hood and everything else raises the price decently high. and the 29 gallon starter kit frmo walmart is about 90$

They are much to expensive. That will really drive the cost way up.

my Oceanic systems 37 gallon tank with a hood and a stand ended up costing me about $300.

But its a beautiful and very high quality tank.

so. You get what you pay for I guess.
