Anyone ever own one of these, or know how/where to obtain?

I had one for years, and it was the most intriguing specimen in my tank. It did surprisingly well alongside other community freshwater fish. Really amazing to watch it feed on a cube of bloodworm or veggie pellets for bottom feeders.

I'd love to add one to my new tank eventually, if anyone has some info?

Do a quick search for Typhlonectes natans or aquatic caecilian "worms" for sale. I'm sure there is an on-line retailer somewhere that has 'em for sale. Ya might try joining caudata.org, as well. There were a few folks on there with both terrestrial and aquatic caecilians and I'm sure a few are still 'round.

AmphibiaWeb is a great source of info on just 'bout any kinda amphibian, basically the amphibian version of FishBase. AmphibiaWeb
