Cherry Shrimps compatible tankmates

good day,
i wonder if cherry shrimps are compatible
with the following:
pearl gourami
neon tetra
white cloud mountain minnow
spotted danio
pink zebra danio
common pleco
ghost shrimp
otocinclus
siamese algae eater
rummynose tetra

please advice me what compatible tankmates
you have successfully kept with cherry shrimps.

In my setup, my RCS work well with my tetra neons, cardinalis, rummynose tetras, lampeye, siemensis. My SAE is small, but I already had bigger ones and the shrimps were safe.

RCS may fit the gourami mouth....

All of them should be fine except for the gourami and pleco.

That's a good point. I didn't notice that on the list.

Otocinclus are the only actual "shrimp safe fish". All of the other fish you have listed could eat small shrimp, some more than others. Not that they WILL, some people have stories of peacefully keeping them together. Just keep in mind it is possible. Good luck!

I always like to share this picture when "shrimp safe fish" discussions come up.

If you get enough shrimp they will breed far faster than the fish will eat them assuming you don't have active shrimp hunters such as cichlids.

Most gouramis are surface feeders so I would only worry about the pleco.

The only problem with that is that the pearl gets big enough to chow down on adult shrimp. Even though gourami stay at the top, when rcs breed they swim around the tank trying to find females which is when they usually get eaten.
