im thinking i just need to do water channges tell the nitrites are gone now. fish in cycle for over a week than added a udes filter pad and this is were im at

ammonia 2.0
nitrite 5.0
nitrate less than 5.0 ..almost 0.0


iv done a fish in cycle with feeders for oner a week and added a filter from an established tank withen the last day im thinking water changes tell the nitrites are gone...correct?

With 2ppm ammonia & 5+ppm nitrite, you need to start doing water changes asap to drop these numbers. Heres the fish-in cycle link:
