Aquarium Advice Apprentice
I'm fixing to start cycling a 12 gallon tank (home-made from rubbermaid container). I was reading up on the fishless method of cycling, but had a thought when I was reading something on applesnail.net. Has anyone cycled a tank with snails before? I'm fixing to have a 20+ order of mixed MTS and Chinese Trapdoor snails come in later this week, and am wondering if they could be used to cycle the tank with.
