Today while cleaning the tank I went to replant one of the plants the weather loaches had decided was in the wrong place. When I picked up the plant I noticed that one of the leaves had this weird clear jelly like substance on the bottom of it. It was sort of a sack and it looked like it had little specks in it. Is this some sort of egg sack? Because of the clearish color I dont' think I'll be able to get a picture of it really.

In the tank I have danios, swordtails, weather loaches, a bristlenose pleco, ghost shrimp and misc. snails.

yeah sounds like snails.... The egg sacks mine lay vary in size but they are about the size of a drop of water (give or take depending on the individual egg sack).

I am not a breeding expert so I may be wrong.

The weather loaches are egg scatters i believe, so it wouldn't be them. It sounds like snails to me as well.
