Fish dont swim up!

Good afternoon!

I have a 110 planted tank with the following fishies

Dojo Loach
Rummy Nose x16
Cory Cat x 6
Oto Cat x 8
Clown Pleco x 1
Bleeding Heart tetra x 5.

For some reason the Tetras and everyone else love the bottom! They wont swim up towards the top, just school around the bottom, anyone have any ideas why?

High intensity light? My tetras used to hate the light.

That could be it, i have a Finnix LED over the top of it but if i dim it itll effect the plants...hmmm

Idk, maybe others will know more - sometimes fish are just weird.

Don't most species of Tetras like neons ets come from dim streams and ponds in the Amazon with lots of shade?

Good point, ill that explains why they like the shadows. Ill look into that.

Any suggestions for mid/top fish then?
