Fish transfer
My sister inlaw has just given me her 30 gal tanks and fish i want to transfer the fish to my 120g tank. I want to make sure the fish are healthy and will not transfer anything bad to my tank. the tank is pretty dirty lots of floatys and aglie caked on the tank. most of the fish looks fine the zebra fish all have deformed spines and one of her 2 frog has died that is why she gave me the tank. there is a pump and heater but the pump is small. what can i do over the next 1 or 2 months to get this tank healthy so i am sure nothing we get into my big tank when i transfer the fish over. then i plan to turn the 30 gal into a reef tank

Clean it, first of all. Do daily water changes to get the water and substrate clear of debris. Test the water, and see what it reads. That will help us more. Is the pump you have, just an air pump? Do you have a power filter on the tank at all?
