Ok I had my filter for a while brought it brand new so now my filter is overflowing every time when it stop running after 24 hours can someone tell me what the problem is

Sounds like it is syphoning out of the tank into the filter maybe......how deep are the intake and output hoses?
another thing how does the O-ring sealing it look? i have heard of a couple of people who had to replace that shortly after getting it...something about them not sitting it properly from the factory and that in turn can mold or ruin the seal .....at least it's what i have heard.....i may look at the seals as well ....just because

It's the seal an I think it is the o ring because it won't sit on right
