Ghost shrimp are notoriously hard to raise and need brackish water to hatch. If you want more it is easier to buy more.

You know, after I wrote that I remembered reading about them being hard to raise recently. I was just looking it up right now!

They usually get out of the way just try to pay attention when doing it. And I don't think

Your goldies will enjoy the free dinner. I have kept them before in very heavily planted tanks with goldies and they ok for quite a long time until I went away for a few days. Came home and every single one was gone. If your tank is not heavily planted, they wont last a day with goldies.

No major loss if you want to give it a try! My ghosts were all over the place and never 'hid'. But, the goldies left them alone for the most part because they are well fed. Until I had to go out of town that is!

Well the next time I go out of town is not until end of march so ill see if they get eaten then.
