Gravel vs. Sand

I vac my planted tank to suck up the dead leaves and algae blobs. I'm having issues with beard algae so I suck it out with the gravel vac. In regards to actual fish waste, I don't even see it in my planted tank.

I have PFS and I love it. IMO looks much more natural than gravel. At first it looked sort of yellow but then I got a new light and it almost looks white (the look I was going for). It is really easy to anchor fake plants, all you have to do is push it in.
