I have a 90 gallon that I'm in the process of setting up. I currently will be using 2 36 inch single t8 bulbs.
If u got a 48 inch LED light could I still use my t8s with the LED'S? ??

School is in session!! How deep is your tank and what is your budget? What are your needs out of said led?

It's a 90 gallon. I think it's 2 feet deep. Budget isn't high. I think I am going to get a finnex brand led.

But also run 1 36" t8 with the led

There will only be low light plants. 1 amazon sword, crypts, anubius, java fern, moss balls.

Is it a planted tank?

LEDs are far more powerful than you think :)

If you are doing low light plants on a 90g then a finnex will be just fine. No need to run the fluorescent lights along with it.
