Hi peeps. I have a 2 common plecos in a 55 right now And was wondering at what size should I move them into a larger tank. I am planning on getting a 300 gallon Rubbermaid livestock water tank to put some turtles in outside and was just curious at when I should put them in it.

Around 8" to be far so they still have some room to move without being to big. Becare with turtles and fish usually the fish become snacks to the turtles.

Cool. That's good to know :) they are both close to 7 right now so that gives me a little time. And I figured if they were that big the turtles wouldn't bother them. Am I wrong? Should I wait til they are bigger before putting the turtles in The large tank with them? And of so, how much bigger?
