Bought a pl*co last week and my tank looks great from all the algae that he has been snacking on. Problem is that when i feed him the algae disc, the pl*co seems to ignore it and the other fishes devour it. Any advice on ways to feed this pl*co?

Well, first things first..Welcome to Aquarium Advice!

Plecos are mostly active at night, while most, if not all the other fish in your tank are active during the day. Wait a while after the lights are out in the tank at night, and then drop an algae disk or two in the tank. The other fish should be resting, but your pleco will be happy to devour it! If you want to double check the pleco is eating, wait a few minutes, and shine a flashlight in the tank.

thanks lmw,
what do you think about getting one of those clear tubes and putting the disc in there? PLeco can swim in whether it's night or day, and the other fish would be blocked out.

Anything that allows plecos to hide in - they will love! You could definitly try that as well. If it's clear you'll be able to see if he is eating the disc, so that should work out great.
