i have just recently changed my tank and now my fish dont seem to like it.All they seem to do is hide .I have checked my ph level and every thing is fine .Has anyone got any suggestions for me ?

it could be ammonia, Have you cycled the tank?, if not your fish will suffer and could die, click on the link below and read the article, it contains a lot of good advice. if you need help there are many people here who can give you the answers you'll need.

I agree that it sounds like the new tank is not cycled and the fish are suffering from ammonia poisoning. You've gotta check more than pH. We've got to get your ammonia, nitrIte and nitrAte levels checked in order to fully help you.

The link listed above is for fishless cycling. If you have fish in your tank it's not going to apply to you (I also prefer the article I wrote that's in my signature, lol).

You need to do an immediate 75% water change' followed by daily 50% pwc's to keep the ammonia below .25.

And make sure you use a dechlorinator during the pwc's!
