Here are some smaller fish. Many of them stay under 1", but I believe the Schooling Bumblebee Goby wins out at the smallest at 0.6".

as with most creatures, about half are males and half are females. The males are going to look something like this

They are also significantly smaller than the females which usually measure over 1". Here's a shot of a female.

oh, I forgot to add, these things are DIRT CHEAP. I can get 6 for a dollar at my lfs.

Thats an endler not a guppy.
They sell those as feeder fish/

I've never been able to tell the difference between endlers and feeder guppies personally. They look almost identical. but yeah, that's basically what a feeder guppy looks like

oh ok so feeder guppies are pretty much just an endler with out its colors?

they can be very colorful. The females are almost always a drab gray though. The males are still colorful though, sometimes as much as an endler, I would get you a pciture of some of mine, but the dang things are so small and refuse to stay still. I simply can't get a good picture

what do you keep your feeders in?

I keep them in the turtle tank. I just bought $3 worth and let them loose. Gives my turtle something to chase, adds some color to the tank, and they are cheap so it doesn't matter when he eats them all. hah
