That won't make much mess and some fish that will keep the tank clean

Hi! I have a 10g. I run 15 guppies, all male with fancy tails, 5 ramhorn snails, and two cory. I just cleaned the tank this morning and it was so clean! Never have algae or much 'junk' on the bottom, yet I have lots of pretty action and color. You can also have a betta in there, but I wouldn't put anything else in there unless you find one that is very easy going. Mine killed 2 cories and picked at a snail till it was dead. There are so many possibilities! I would just stay with small fish, research and watch your limit so that you don't over stock. Good luck!

IMO platys don't produce much waste. Neither do most mollies or guppies. If you put both sexes together in the tank though, it's likely that they'll get pregnant. Maybe some tetras? Harlequins?
