What fish should I get next

Hello fish world I have a 40 gallon tank with
2x angelfish
4x rummy nose tetra
5xblack neons
4x bronze Cory's
1x bn plec
What should I get next keep it South American thinking 2 rams

You need more tetras, or they will get eaten by the angelfish. my neons did, and there were nine of them. try getting atleast 7 more, or put them in a different tank.

Angelfish eat Neons in the wild, so yeah more Tetras. Larger Tetras.

They have been together for 1 year and none eaten

Black neon tetras wouldn't be in danger of being consumed in my opinion.

that angel will have no problem eating the neons soon , and probably most of the other smaller fish

I keep cardinal, glow light, red eye, and black neon tetras with 3 large angels and have never lost one due consumption by the angels. Altum angels are the ones that you really have to be careful with when it comes to small tetras. If you are really concerned about the neons just do cardinal tetras instead and they even look better then neons IMO.

My angel lived happily with nine tetras for a year and a half, and then suddenly decided you could eat them, and then there were 5. Take out the tetras.
