Im curious what types of veggies you guys feed your red cherry shrimp as well as how you prep them.

Also if certain kinds have cosmetic/breeding or health benefits.

Thanks

I give mine a zucchini every once in a long while, they love that. Just cut a slice, wash it under the tap, throw it in the microwave for a few seconds, see if it sinks, it not stick a small rock in it, retrieve rock after slice is gone. Simple, just I'm too lazy to do that
I just throw in a half algae wafer 1-2 times a week, my small colony of 20-22 shrimp live off that and biofilm. No algae that the shrimp feed off, mainly because there isn't any in the first place, keep my photoperiod pretty short and I run Co2.

I infrequently feed my RCS veggies, but when I do, I take a very small piece of spinach and microwave it until soft and then put that in the tank. They SWARM it, but too much can affect water quality adversely.
