Nerite snail eggs and shrimps

I want to add nerite snails to my Shrimp Only tank. However I heard there eggs look very bad so I want to know if shrimps will eat the eggs or won't touch them?

I’m not aware of anything that will eat the eggs. If I could get only males, then I consider these.

But I believe its not possible to know the sex of nerites or is it?

Only by trial and error, I think. Putting one snail in each tank and seeing if eggs show up, or if the nerites of been in your fish stores tanks for a while looking for the eggs.

I’ve had nerite snails for a while. Females didn’t start laying eggs until they doubled in size from the time I got them. So it was about a year later. I had 4 at the time so I could never pinpoint which ones where laying eggs. I’ve since brought them back to the lfs. I plan to get more again but I’m just gonna go with one.
