I was wondering because one of my dwarf gouramis isn't doing so well so I was thinking of putting him with my rcs because that tank has a lot more plants. He is a very small gourami so the chances of him eating them are small right?

IMO those are both male, but I can't tell for sure. Usually females are a LOT more dull and have less of a pattern to them. I have 2 DGs. They used to be in a 10 with 20-30 rcs and they never seemed to care. It was heavily planted though. They sometimes chase them when the swim but other than that no prob.

Those are both 3 spot Gouramis. Males end up with long pointed top fins. These can get nasty as adults. Keep an eye out.

This is a male with a long dorsal fin.

But neither of these address the question.

A DG may eat shrimp. If they fit in his mouth, he may munch them.

You know these are color varieties of 3 spot Gouramis, not Dwarves right ?

My rule of thumb with most fish, if something can fit in its mouth, theres a chance it will be eaten.

Ok I will remove them from the tank
