I am planning on being out of town for about two weeks and I'd like to have plants for my goldfish to eat while I'm gone instead of using a time released feeding block or having someone come in and feed my fish.

In the past I've had my fish eat most of my elodea but are there other plants I can get at my LFS that my fish will eat.

If he's an adult, you could just not leave him anything, but that's pretty risky.

I've heard they enjoy floating plants, like duckweed, azolla, and salvinia. One of those combined with a nice big bunch of water wisteria might be an idea.

2 weeks for a GF is a long time.

If you end up having someone help you feed, a pill box with the daily portion (light portions) can be a life saver, so avoiding overfeeding while on vacation plague.

Duck weed is a big hit usually, but a fish can wipe that out in a few days. (or day if it is just a portion of it)
