From what I have read, the 12g DX Nano Cube has BARELY adequate lighting for a nano reef setup. But I have also seen a lot of them setup in stores that look really great, and have a decent variety of coral and inverts. I am thinking about having a couple different corals, a few crabs, snails, and maybe a fish. Will I be dissapointed with the limited coral choices and wishing for higher light later on if I buy the JBJ Nano Cube? Or would I be better off using a 10 gallon tank and getting approx 4-6 WPG of PC lighting?

Check out www.nanotuners.com they have some lighting upgrade kits and what not!!

To tell you the truth, I have a 12gal. DX and have some zoo's, shrooms, Candy canes, GSP, and an open brain (red) in mine and everything is doing great!!! The lighting would not be suffiecient enough for SPS or Clams, but for most softies and some LPS the lighting is perfect!
