It's more then the wattage, you have to get the proper Kelvin rating on your bulb. At least a 6500k or higher rated bulb.

well yes that too but the ones i bought when i had a planted was i think 10k i ordered them online though i dunno if they have them in store or not lol

Walmart might have them in the pet section.
