i would hold off on adding anything further for a while. especially since your tank is only a 12 gal, so your pretty much already at your limit for fish.

Ditto on what everyone else said about the fishless cycle, these are our pets and need to be cared for this way, for comparison you wouldnt put your dog in a septic tank would you, it's basically what your doing to your fish,

I have a 12 gal Nano. I"m getting some nice algae on my LR, however not on the glass or the back. Should i be getting more algae after about 3 weeks?

Also...there are A LOT of pods in my tank. Is it ok if there are a bagillion of them!?

if you can catch them i'll take some, i used to have them until i bought a sixline, he lost a fight with a powerhead though.
