Changing 55 to 125

I'm new to this and really don't want to hurt the fish and inverts in my 55. Do I need to wait until the cloudiness in my 125 dies down to add the animals or will they be fine as long as the temp and SG is fine and would y'all suggest brushing the diatom algae off the live rock before adding it to the 125?

Run some carbon and it'll clear up.
