I have a 10 gallon tank that I just started and my live rock was exposed to ammonia prior to getting into the new tank. There is no fish in the tank. It's been set up for 4 days now. Nitrites and Nitrates are 0. Ph is at 7.8. Ammonia is at 0.25. The question is whether or not thats enough ammonia for bacteria to start working and converting it into nitrates? Or should I put a dead shrimp in there for more ammonia for bacteria to develop? Thanks.

I would add it. Then you can be sure of a full cycle
